I am a software engineer with enough years of experience that older projects now fall off the bottom of my resume. I have programmed pretty much everything from mainframes to hand held devices. I have written assembly code and high level scripting, and much in between.

Most recently, much of my focus has been on server side web development, particularly using the java platform.

I am an advocate for open source, agile process, and cross functional collaboration in the development effort.

I have a particular passion for issues concerning the structure of large code bases and how to organize tools, teams and infrastructure around the code.
